Module cutters — high-precision gear cutting
Module cutters make it possible to produce external gears on machines that do not have a Y-B axis. Thus a B axis can be substituted with a comparatively small investment. Meanwhile even gears up to module 3 can be produced on VDI40/BMT65/BMT75 machines.
- Milling head steplessly adjustable by 360
- Gearings up to module 3 (depending on design)
- Spindle for holding the cutter can be exchanged without problems (Ø8-Ø32)
- Cycle for gear milling must be enabled (coupling of tool drive with C-axis)
- Neighboring stations can be omitted

Double toothing (Traub license)
- VDI shank double toothed.
- Tool holder can be rotated 180°.
- Note: Rotatability may be restricted by alignment systems (e.g. Trifix).
